Haryana Police arrest Telecom agent for supplying sim cards to cyber fraudsters

Panchkula, Oct 1 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested a telecom point-of-sale agent from Kanpur for allegedly misusing customers' KYC details and live photographs to obtain SIM cards without their knowledge and supplying around 50 SIM cards to cyber fraudsters, a police spokesman said here on Thursday. The accused, identified as Vinay Sharma, a resident of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly earned around Rs 1 lakh by supplying the SIM cards to cyber criminals, the spokesman said.
