Patna, Oct 1 (UNI) The CPI on Thursday alleged that the state government's treasury was empty and it was repeatedly withdrawing money from the contingency fund to meet expenses such as salaries, honoraria and pensions. Bihar state CPI secretary Ramnaresh Pandey alleged that despite the "double-engine government", the Centre was not providing Bihar with its due funds on time, resulting in financial difficulties for the state government.
