AP: 1,970 liquor shops opt for renewal, Rs 403.25 crore collected from 1,220 shops

Vijayawada, Sep 18 (UNI) As on date, 1,970 of the 3,652 shops in Andhra Pradesh have opted for licence renewal for 2026-27, with 1,220 shops making full or partial payments and Rs 403.25 crore collected towards renewal and related charges. With three days remaining before the September 21 deadline, the renewal process has received a positive response across several districts, a release here today said.
