ABVP backs NLSIU screening cancellation

Bengaluru, Sept 19 (UNI) The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Saturday backed the cancellation of a proposed screening of a documentary on Umar Khalid at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), asserting that academic freedom cannot be used to promote what it termed "subversive agendas" against national sovereignty and security.
