UP government deploys 606 teams in 25 districts to prevent Lumpy skin disease

Lucknow, Sep 19 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday intensified measures to prevent and control Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) among livestock, deploying 606 veterinary teams across 25 districts to monitor animals, step up vaccination and ensure timely treatment. During a meeting here on Saturday, Additional Chief Secretary of the Animal Husbandry Department Mukesh Meshram directed officials to maintain heightened vigilance in affected and vulnerable districts and strengthen measures to contain the disease.
