BRS leader Sohail accuses Congress govt, AIMIM of 'failure' on minority welfare

Hyderabad, Sept 19 (UNI) Senior BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail on Saturday alleged that the Congress government had failed to effectively implement minority welfare schemes and accused AIMIM of not mounting adequate pressure on the government over the issue. Sohail, reacting to the recently concluded Legislature session, claimed that government figures showed Rs 1,972.17 crore was spent against Rs 5,100.97 crore allocated for minority welfare schemes over two financial years, representing 38.7 per cent of the allocation.
