Janardhana Reddy attacks Karnataka govt over Vande Mataram order

Koppal, Sept 19 (UNI) BJP MLA Gali Janardhana Reddy on Saturday hit out at the Karnataka government over its directive limiting the rendition of Vande Mataram to its first two stanzas at state government functions, questioning the move to initiate action against officials who sing the full version. Reacting to Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi's warning that action would be taken against officials violating the government order, Reddy said there was nothing wrong in spending three minutes to pay respect to the motherland.
