Thunderstorms, gusty winds likely in Punjab, Haryana; Monsoon withdrawal may begin around Sept 19

Panchkula, Sep 17 (UNI) Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi are likely to experience thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching up to 60 kmph at isolated places on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall is likely over Punjab on September 17, followed by isolated to scattered rainfall on September 18 and 19. Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi are likely to receive isolated to scattered rainfall from September 17 to 20.
