Tech helps stranger reunite missing Punjab pilgrim with family after four days in Bihar

Chandigarh, Sept 20 (UNI) An elderly man from Punjab, who went missing during a government-sponsored pilgrimage to Amritsar, was reunited with his family after travelling by train to Bihar, where a stranger sheltered him for four days and used internet searches to trace his village, his family said. Chaman Lal, a resident of Fatehgarh Gujran village in Ludhiana district, had travelled to Amritsar on Sept 11 under the Punjab government's Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra scheme to visit the Golden Temple.
