Congress submits memo to Rajasthan State Election Commission on incidents of 'BJP engineered' cross voting

Jaipur, Sep 29 (UNI) The Opposition Congress in Rajasthan lodged a complaint with the state Election Commission about incidents of violence during civic bodies polls and alleged bids by the ruling BJP to exert pressure on police and returning officers, to work in favour of the party nominees. "The party also complained of so called BJP engineered cross voting' by some Congress winners and Independents who either were forcibly picked up or harassed otherwise by BJP people or the police", the opposition party has alleged in a memorandum.
