HP: BJP leader Pawan Kajal distributes Rs 5.40 Lakh to 27 women's groups in Kholi

Kangra, Sep 18 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh BJP Vice-President and MLA Pawan Kajal on Friday distributed financial assistance to 27 women's groups at Kholi Gram Panchayat, urging women to play an active role in combating drug abuse and other social evils. Kajal provided Rs 20,000 each to the 27 groups from her MLA fund, taking the total assistance to Rs 5.40 lakh. She said the groups could utilise the funds to purchase essential goods and other items required for their activities.
