PIL seeks CBI probe into LPU violence; Punjab and Haryana HC to hear plea

Chandigarh, Sept 29 (UNI) A Public Interest Litigation seeking a CBI probe into the violence at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in Punjab's Jalandhar district was filed before the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday, with the court agreeing to hear the matter on Wednesday. The petition was mentioned before a division bench comprising Chief Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra and Justice Rohit Kapoor for urgent listing.
