Jitendra Mishra took charge of first CEO of Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Sep 21 (UNI) Air Marshal (Retd) Jitendra Mishra took over the charge of the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust here on Monday.

The CEO will sit in his office, set up at the PFC Centre located in the Ram Temple complex. Mishra's primary responsibilities will include managing the facilities for the large number of devotees who visit the Ram Temple daily. He will regularly review the darshan arrangements, movement of devotees, facilities, security, and various other activities related to the temple complex.

It is also expected that he will review on-site work related to temple construction, operational arrangements, and pilgrim facilities. Air Marshal (Retd.) Jitendra Mishra was appointed the first CEO of the Ram Temple Trust in early September. His regular presence in Ayodhya will usher in a new phase in the Trust's administrative and operational setup. The CEO's priority will now be to understand the temple's current operations and review the arrangements.

He will also hold meetings with Ram Mandir staff. In view of the increasing number of devotees, help desks and information centres on the complex are being further activated. This will focus on providing more systematic assistance to devotees regarding darshan, entry, facilities, and other important information.

With the CEO's appointment, a review of the temple's internal administrative system, staff functioning, security, pilgrim facilities, offerings, and coordination between various agencies is likely to accelerate. Importantly, there will now be a centralised administrative responsibility for implementing decisions related to the temple's management.
