AP: Two siblings drowned in a water pit, bodies retrieved

Narasaraopet, Sep 21 (UNI) In a tragic incident, two siblings were drowned in a water pit at Sitaramapuram colony in Piduguralla in Palnadu district on Monday.
Police said that the deceased boys came to the town from Markapur town to participate in the Ganesh immersion programme. Later they entered a water pit, slipped and drowned. The deceased were identified as Satish (7) and Gowtham (12).

The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for postmortem.
