Bengal: Rejected 'proposal', woman battered to death with brick in Santipur

Krishnagar, Sep 21 (UNI) A woman in her fifties was brutally beaten to death with a brick at her home in Santipur located in West Bengal's Nadisa district, allegedly after she refused a man's advances, in a late-night attack that police suspect may have been staged to look like a burglary. The incident occurred around midnight on Sunday at Bhuter Mela Para in Prafullanagar under Nabla panchayat of Santipur police station.
