Haryana: 10 people from Nuh booked for embezzling Rs 1.10 lakh through fake registration on Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal

Kaithal, Oct 1 (UNI) A case of fraudulently registering other farmers' land on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal to gain benefits under the Mera Pani-Meri Virasat scheme has come to light. Following an investigation by the Chief Minister's Flying Squad, Jind, several such cases were uncovered by the Siwan police station, which a case registered against 10 individuals from the Punhana area of Nuh district. The investigation revealed that Mohammad, a resident of Lahwari, registered 7.438 acres of land in Khanpur village, Siwan tehsil, in his name on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora portal.
