Haryana: Police bust gift voucher route in Rs 1.23 lakh credit card fraud, 2 arrested

Panchkula, Oct 1 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested two Delhi residents for their alleged role in a Rs 1.23-lakh credit card fraud in which a victim was tricked into sharing card details and an OTP on the pretext of deactivating a health plan, a police spokesman said here today. The arrests have also uncovered an alleged method of converting proceeds of cyber fraud into gift vouchers and mobile phones before routing the money back to fraudsters, the spokesman said.
