Haryana Police flag rising vape use among students, warn sellers of jail, Rs 1 lakh fine

Panchkula, Sep 19 (UNI) Haryana Police have raised concern over reports of growing use of vapes and e-cigarettes among students and their illegal sale and supply around schools and educational institutions in Hisar, warning that those selling or supplying the banned products will face action under the law, a police spokesperson said on Saturday. Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, has asked students, parents, educational institutions and shopkeepers to remain vigilant, saying e-cigarettes should neither be treated as a fashion product nor considered a safe alternative to conventional cigarettes.
