Haryana Police arrest 15 in Hisar cybercrime cases; Rs 58.46 lakh recovered, refunded or frozen

Panchkula, Sep 18 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested 15 accused in 15 cybercrime cases registered in Hisar over the past 15 days, while helping victims secure Rs 58.46 lakh through recovery, refunds and freezing of suspected transactions, a police spokesperson said on Friday. The spokesperson said the drive was carried out under the directions of Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain and the supervision of Assistant Superintendent of Police Mayank Mudgil. Police said a total of Rs 58,46,524 belonging to cybercrime victims was either recovered, refunded or put on hold during the period, preventing the money from being moved further…
