Odisha to roll out seamless digital payment system for urban civic services

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18 (UNI) Odisha is set to strengthen digital urban governance by introducing a comprehensive and secure online payment system across Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), enabling citizens to pay municipal taxes, fees and utility charges through multiple digital modes under the SUJOG platform. The Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of India (SBI), through its payment aggregator service SBIePay, to facilitate seamless, secure and citizen-centric digital payments across ULBs in the State.
