Mumbai Police walkie-talkie stolen from Beat chowky, probe launched

Mumbai, Sep 18 (UNI) A walkie-talkie belonging to the Mumbai Police was reportedly stolen from a beat chowky in the Two Tank area of South Mumbai, under the jurisdiction of VP Road Police Station, an official confirmed on Friday. According to preliminary information, the wireless communication device had been kept at the chowky for charging when it was allegedly taken by an unidentified person. The incident came to light after police personnel noticed that the walkie-talkie was missing from the spot where it had been kept.
