Three held for using border-side guava orchard to retrieve drone-dropped drugs, weapons; 2 AK rifles, 10 kg heroin seized

Chandigarh, Sep 29 (UNI) Punjab Police have arrested a woman, her husband and her brother for allegedly using a leased guava orchard barely 500 metres from the India-Pakistan border fence to retrieve drone-dropped consignments of heroin and weapons, officials said on Tuesday. Police recovered 10.030 kg of heroin, an AK-47 rifle, an AK-56 rifle, three magazines and 10 live cartridges from the accused, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.
