Singareni, TGGENCO target daily coal supply of 75,500 tonnes to thermal plants

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and Telangana GENCO have prepared an action plan to ensure uninterrupted coal supply to thermal power plants in the state amid rising electricity demand and dry conditions associated with El Nino. At a joint coordination meeting held through video conference on Tuesday, officials set a daily coal supply target of 75,500 tonnes, comprising 56,000 tonnes through 14 railway rakes and 19,500 tonnes by road.
