Haryana: LUVAS issues advisory for livestock farmers regarding Lumpy Skin Disease

Kaithal, Sep 22 (UNI) The Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar, has issued an advisory for livestock owners regarding Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD). The advisory stated that this disease is a contagious viral disease primarily affecting cows and other bovine animals. Lumpy Skin Disease is caused by a virus and is not a zoonotic disease, so it is not considered a direct threat to human health.
