Hyderabad, Mar 16 (UNI) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar highlighted the essence of spirituality, encompassing love, compassion, patience, tolerance, forgiveness, and responsibility, during his address at the ongoing four-day Global Spirituality Mahotsav.

Addressing the esteemed gathering at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the world's largest meditation center, Dhankhar expressed gratitude for the opportunity to address spiritual luminaries, scholars, and seekers from various faiths and beliefs.

He emphasized the contemporary relevance of the theme "Inner Peace to World Peace" amidst escalating geopolitical tensions and global challenges. Dhankhar commended India's historical commitment to pluralism and equality, asserting its role as a beacon of hope.

Reflecting on India's civilizational ethos, Dhankhar underscored the spiritual foundation ingrained in every aspect of Indian culture, from literature and art to governance and social organization. He lauded the pivotal role of spiritual leaders and movements in guiding humanity towards freedom, justice, and societal well-being.

Dhankhar emphasized the universality of spirituality, transcending religious boundaries, and fostering a harmonious balance between material progress and inner peace. He urged individuals to embrace spirituality as a guiding light for ethical conduct and harmonious living.

The Vice President concluded by calling for the integration of spiritual values into every facet of life, fostering a society that cherishes inner peace, wisdom, and self-realization.

The four-day spirituality summit, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture (Government of India) and Heartfulness, aims to promote the theme "Inner Peace to World Peace" and is being held at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the headquarters of Heartfulness, situated on the outskirts of the city.
