Centre may declare Hyderabad union territory after June 2, says BRS working Prez

Karimnagar (Telangana), April 28 (UNI) BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday evening there was a possibility that the BJP-NDA government may declare Hyderabad as union territory after June 2.
Addressing a road show in support of its party candidate for Karimnagar LS candidate here, KTR said, ''I have a clear indication that the centre may announce Hyderabad as a union territory after June 2, and the common capital ( Hyderabad) for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for 10-years will be over.''
The Congress was not able to foil the BJP-led Centre’s plans, and BRS could only prevent such moves by raising its voice in Parliament if it had enough MPs, he said.
