HP Education Board revokes accreditation of 294 private schools

Shimla, Nov 7 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPSEB) has revoked the accreditation of 294 private schools across the state for violating board rules by teaching books from private publishers instead of the board-prescribed curriculum.

“Government asleep”: High Court rebukes Himachal govt for ignoring CSR contributions

Shimla, Nov 7 (UNI) Expressing strong displeasure over the administrative functioning of the Himachal Pradesh government, the High Court has observed that crucial decisions are being taken “without prudence and foresight.”
A Division Bench comprising Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia and Justice Ranjan Sharma also questioned the frequent reshuffle in the appointment of the Legal Remembrancer-cum-Principal Secretary (Law), noting that such actions reflect a lack of proper legal guidance and seriousness in governance.
