Meghalaya government, WFP sign amendment to boost food security cooperation

New Delhi/Shillong, Sep 30 (UNI) The Meghalaya government and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) on Wednesday signed an amendment to the existing agreement between the two organisations to further strengthen their partnership on food security, nutrition, and related areas of cooperation. The amendment was signed on behalf of the Meghalaya government by Commissioner & Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Pravin Bakshi and by Elisabeth Faure, Representative and Country Director for WFP India, on behalf of WFP.
