Depression over Nuapada to trigger heavy rain in several Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar, Sep 25 (UNI) The deep depression that entered Odisha on Wednesday weakened into a depression and lay centred over Nuapada district on Friday, the Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC) of SOA Deemed to be University said. The weather system is likely to move north-northwestwards towards east Uttar Pradesh, the CEC said. Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in Angul, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Sonepur and Boudh districts on Friday.
