POCSO Court extends Granite baron Veeramani's remand till Oct 9 in sexual assault case

Chennai, Sep 25 (UNI) The Chennai POCSO Special Court on Friday evening extended the judicial remand of Granite baron R.Veeramani of Gem Granites till October 9 in connection with the case relating to the alleged sexual assault of minor girls. After the expiry of the remand, Veeramani was produced before POCSO Judge S.Padma via video-conferencing from Puzhal Central Prison, citing security reasons. After recording his presence, the Judge extended his remand till October nine.
