ICG ship Shaunak sails for Perth under QUAD-at-Sea mission to boost maritime interoperability

New Delhi, Sept 25 (UNI) The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Friday strengthened maritime cooperation with Australia, Japan and the United States as its ship Shaunak sailed from Chennai for Perth under the QUAD-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission. The mission brings together personnel from the four QUAD countries for shipboard activities and professional exchanges aimed at enhancing interoperability, improving coordination and strengthening mutual trust among the maritime forces. Six officers, described as Sea Riders, have embarked on Shaunak for the mission.
