Meghalaya lawyers declare indefinite strike to oust Advocate General

Shillong, Sep 30 (UNI) Lawyers across Meghalaya on Wednesday announced an indefinite statewide judicial boycott starting October 1, pressing for the removal of State Advocate General Amit Kumar. The Joint Executive Committee of the Meghalaya High Court Bar Association and the Shillong Bar Association took this decision after the state government failed to remove the Advocate General.
