Bihar education minister seeks probe report within 24 hours into schoolgirl''s death

Patna, Sept 30 (UNI) Taking serious note of a girl's death after she fell from a dilapidated staircase at a government school at Mansi in Khagaria district, Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari on Wednesday ordered a magisterial inquiry. He directed the departmental secretary to get the matter investigated through the Khagaria District Magistrate and submitted the report within 24 hours. Negligence concerning the safety of children would not be tolerated at any level, he said.
