Ghatal master plan gets Rs 1,200 cr boost, Bengal CM sets pre-monsoon deadline

Midnapore, Sep 30 (UNI) With large parts of Ghatal still under water, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday announced a Rs 1,200-crore allocation for the long-pending Ghatal Master Plan and set a June deadline for pushing ahead with the project, while promising Rs 1.80 lakh each for families living in kutcha houses in flood-affected areas.
