TMC-Congress churn in central Bengal gives BJP fresh political ammunition

Siliguri, Sep 21 (UNI) With the by-elections approaching, political realignment appears to be gathering momentum in several parts of West Bengal, particularly in districts of central Bengal where the Trinamool Congress and Congress have traditionally competed for influence. While the BJP has been accusing the Opposition of failing to retain its political space, a series of defections from the TMC to the Congress has added a new dimension to the political contest.
