Bihar: Prashant Kishor slams government over law and order

Saharsa, Oct 15 (UNI) Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor Thursday criticised the Samrat government over criminal incidents in Bihar, questioning how people can expect a better society and employment opportunities when they elect people with criminal backgrounds and allow criminals to run the government. Referring to incidents in which an official was shot in Ara and a police constable died in Nalanda, Kishor alleged that the police and administration were focusing less on controlling crime and more on collecting money through prohibition enforcement and the sand mafia, while providing protection to criminals.
