JFL commissions Rs 5,000-crore integrated steel facility in Odisha's Jajpur

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 (UNI) Jindal Ferrous Limited (JFL) has commissioned a 2.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) integrated steel manufacturing facility at Jajpur in Odisha, marking the company's entry into integrated steel production with an investment of over Rs 5,000 crore. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the facility, which incorporates a sinter plant, a 2.2 MTPA steel melt shop (SMS) and associated infrastructure, strengthening Odisha's position as a major destination for steel manufacturing and industrial investment.
