New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) India's net direct tax collections increased 13.21% year-on-year to Rs 13.38 lakh crore as of October 14 in the financial year 2026-27, according to data released by the Income Tax Department. The growth came alongside a sharper rise in tax refunds, which increased 24.22% during the period. Net direct tax receipts stood at Rs 13,37,866.98 crore, compared with Rs 11,81,786.98 crore in the corresponding period of FY26.
