Husband sentenced to life imprisonment for wife's murder in Bihar's Saran

Chhapra, Sep 24 ( UNI) Additional District and Sessions Judge VIII Anil Kumar Bhardwaj sentenced a man of Khabsi village under Baniyapur police station to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife. According to the prosecution, the victim's mother, Saraswati Devi, filed a complaint with Baniyapur police on June 7, 2019, alleging that her daughter had been married to Arun Rai and that she was killed by him and others over a demand for an additional Rs 2 lakh in dowry.
