Student found hanging in Puri women's college hostel

Puri, Sep 18 (UNI) A 20-year-old college student was found hanging inside her hostel room at a women's college in Puri on Thursday evening, police said on Friday. The deceased was identified as Nandini Bag, a first-year 3 Commerce student of the college and a native of Kadipur village in Rayagada district, the Sea Beach police said. According to police, the door of room No. 222, where Nandini was staying, remained closed from Thursday morning till evening. Suspecting something was amiss, some hostel inmates informed the warden.
