BJP highlights investment, FDI figures to target previous BJD govt

Bhubaneswar, Sep 19 (UNI) The State unit of BJP on Saturday claimed Odisha's foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow has increased under its government, contrasting the figures recorded during the previous BJD regime. BJP spokesperson Satyabrata Panda said Odisha received USD 47 million in FDI between April and September 2025, averaging USD 7.83 million a month, compared with an average monthly inflow of USD 1.14 million between April and June 2024, towards the end of the BJD government's tenure.
