24 pilgrims injured as bus from West Bengal rams into another bus in Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22 (UNI) Twenty-four pilgrims, including seven women and some children, were injured, ten of them critically, when a bus carrying devotees from Hooghly in West Bengal rammed into another pilgrim bus on NH-16 near Dhamra Railway Overbridge in Bhadrak district early Sunday, police said. The accident occurred at around 2.30 AM when the pilgrim bus from Hooghly collided with another bus, leaving several passengers injured. Following the accident, local residents, Bhadrak Rural police personnel and Fire Brigade teams launched a rescue operation and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital at Bhadrak.
