Bihar Legislative council polls for eight seats on October 23

Patna, Sept22 (UNI) The Election Commission on Tuesday announced that polling for eight seats of the Bihar Legislative Council, comprising four graduate and as many teacher constituencies, will be held on October 23. According to the election schedule, notification for the biennial elections will be issued on September 29, when the nomination process will also begin. Candidates can file their nomination papers till October 6, while scrutiny will be conducted on October 7. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is October 9.
