COVID : 47 new cases, one death in  UT

Puducherry, Mar 22 (UNI) The Coronavirus infection cases in the Union Territory mounted to 40,433 and death toll to 676 with 47 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 and one fatality reported in the last 24 hours, ending at 10 AM on Monday.
The lone death was reported in Karaikal region of the UT.
According to COVID-19 status released by the health department here, of the 519 swab sample tests conducted on Sunday, 47 persons tested positive for the Coronavirus.
