AP: Water conservation essential to prevent wars for water in future: Dr Umar Alisha

Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 26(UNI) Dr Umar Alisha, Chief of Pithapuram Sri Viswa Vignana vidya Adhyathmika Peetham has advised the people to save water to avert wars for water in the future.
Inaugurating three Chalivendrams (water kiosks) separately for birds and cattle and a Buttermilk kiosk for pedestrians to quench their thirst during the ongoing summer at Boat club here on Friday, Umar Alish stressed the need to preserve biodiversity so that every living creature can have their natural habitat.
He said the Umar Alisha rural charitable trust would be opening several water kiosks to quench the thirst of pedestrians, birds, and cattle as well in both the Telugu States.
