Two killed in road mishap at Jhansi

Jhansi, June 25 (UNI) Two people, going to a marriage ceremony on a bike, died after a speeding truck hit them in Mauranipur area here on Monday.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Mahendra Pal (54) and Sanjay Singh, hailing from Amarpura village, here.
The accident occurred, when a speeding truck got uncontrolled, after one of its tyres flattened and it rammed a bike. The severely-injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Mahendra was declared brought dead, while Sanjay succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police added.
