Telugu Fiction Writer 'Chhaya Devi' passes away

Hyderabad, Jun 28 (UNI) Telugu Fiction writer Abburi Chhaya Devi passed away here on Friday.

Chaya Devi, who was born on October 13, 1933 in Rajahmundry, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is the wife of the late Abburi Varada Rajeswara Rao, himself a writer, critic and former Chairman, Official Languages Commission.

Karnataka govt to take appropriate action against Revanna after receiving SIT report: Kharge

Hyderabad, May 10 (UNI)Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said that the Karnataka government would take action against Prajwal Revanna after receiving SIT report
Addressing a press conference here, Kharge said the Karnataka government had set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) against Revanna.
He stated that appropriate action would be taken once the SIT report was received.
