Five killed in deluge in Nagpur

Nagpur, July 7 (UNI) At least five persons were killed following heavy rainfall in Nagpur on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Ashish Nagpure of Nageshwar Nagar, Nilesh Toliram Chawke (28) of Bhagwan Nagar, Suresh Kesrichand Sakhare (22) of Trimurty Nagar, Harshal Chanekar and Nageshwar Mohurle residents of Pindakapar village in Ramtek tehsil.
According to sources, a youth was washed away in a lake at Bhandara road.
While a body of a middle aged man was fished out of swollen nullah in Hudkeshwar area.
Another middle-aged man was killed after he slipped and fell on the rocks near Ambazari lake's overflow point.
While two teenagers were killed in lightning strike at Khindsi lake near Ramtek.
Police have registered a case of accidental death, sources added.
