Young nurse from Nashik ends life over harassment from her seniors

Nashik, Nov 29 (UNI) Unable to bear harassment faced from her seniors, a 28-year-old nurse at Devpur primary health centre allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at Devpur in Sinnar taluka of the district on Thursday.
Kalpana Pandarinath Shelke, who was working at government health centre at Devpur in Sinnar taluka, ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house with a nylon rope.
The incident came to light in the evening when two of her colleagues came to her house to enquire about her after a measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination camp, police said.

Pune, May 6 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at isolated places at a few places over Bihar; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Telangana, Rayalaseema; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad. These were markedly below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C); at isolated places over Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 45.1°C was reported at Saraikela (Jharkhand) over the country.
