EU defence ministers to discuss Ukraine support, Middle East naval operations

Brussels, Sep 28 (UNI) European union defence ministers will meet on Monday to discuss military support for Ukraine, including urgent air defence needs, as well as the security situation in the Middle East and EU naval operations in the region. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, who is chairing the Foreign Affairs Council (Defence), said ahead of the meeting that Russia's continued attacks on Ukrainian civilians underlined the need for additional air defence systems.
